Our Housing & Support team supports customers with everything related to their homes, neighbourhoods and communities, as well as providing any extra support they may need while living in a Broadacres home. We have specialist teams who work with customers to support them through our Young Person’s and Women’s Refuge schemes or Mental Health and Learning Difficulties supported services.

Our Catering team creates delicious and nutritious meals for people living in our extra care housing schemes across North Yorkshire. They prepare meals throughout the day for residents and members of the local community. We offer training to anyone who wants to get qualifications and we encourage colleagues to unleash their creativity to develop exciting menus and dishes.

Our customers are at the heart of our decision making and we're always proactively collecting customer feedback to personalise and improve our services. This includes making sure our customers can contact us how they want, when they want. Our scheduling team processes our customers repair queries and makes sure the right people get sent to the right jobs at the right time.

Our Resources directorate is the backbone of the organisation and includes teams who look after our colleagues and many of our external stakeholders. The Facilities team is responsible for everything from the buildings we work in, the uniforms we wear, and the vehicles we drive. Our Governance and Legal teams keep us compliant with housing law, GDPR and other housing legislations, policies and protocols. Our Financial Services and Performance teams include roles from payroll to accounting, and financial control to Money Advice.

Our Development and Investment teams are the ones making our ambitious targets – to increase housing stock and make sure our existing homes are of the highest standard, with a focus on sustainability – become reality. Across this team, colleagues find new land proposals, design, construct and pursue investment opportunities. Our aim is to increase the number of affordable homes by building 1,000 new energy efficient homes and they're the people who are making it happen.

Our Property Services team is the biggest single team at Broadacres. It covers everything from refurbishment to responsive repairs, planned works, skilled trades, compliance and administration. Everyone is working together to help us provide an efficient maintenance service for our customers.

Our Health and Safety team works with our People team to create a healthy and safe workplace, with good working practices for wellbeing and the work environment.

Our ICT team provides all the IT support we need to get a great job done. They work on everything from providing the kit and equipment we need, to troubleshooting problems and developing our systems and sourcing software to help us to deliver a great customer experience.
